my bank says nobody at my bank gets coronavirus checks until jan. 4. I live chatted with them an hour ago and that's what they said.

 

I got my $600 already. Hoping that $2k is a thing, but glad I got $600 alredy.

 

do you mind if I ask what bank? looks like some are holding the checks until the funds are actually paid from the treasury to the banks, other banks are paying them without waiting. for me, it's annoying, because my bank told me I'm getting it on monday. which means they have mine and aren't putting it in my account yet.

 

Sure. I use chime bank. It's an entirely online bank. No brick and morter lolcations. 100% free.

its a crap shoot on what banks are depositing right now. i know a few people that have theirs already and none of them really use the same banks
this entire thing seems to (once again) be a mess

 

Chime has been pretty good to me. As long as it's not a bank blackout day I get my direct deposit the day they initiate it, around 9pm the day they send it. Never had problem with taking a picture of checks for deposit either. Only problem is hitting up ATMs. They are free, but you have to go with their in network ATMs.
