This reminded me of my want to buy a meat fridge/freezer for just buying whole/half animals at a time.

 

My mother had two freezers--and a small one for ice. She grew up during the Depression and didn't mess about over food. Nothing like looking for your slippers under the bed and discovering a couple cases of canned green beans.

 

Oh yeah my mother was the same way. You would look in a dresser drawer and find cans of food and jars of sauces. Certainly made for a good laugh while looking for stuff.
