Received a reply about the Elaine Scorpio rejection. She said that everyone that finished the survey in 7.5 minutes or less received a rejection, since none of the people she piloted the survey to finished it THOUGHTFULLY in less than 540 seconds. I didn't read the entire informed consent form, so maybe it's on me, but I definitely gave her good data.

TurkerView masters is a better gauge of credit worthiness than a FICO score so I hope they gave you a good rate

 

I'm not gonna lie. I brought in my turk earnings to show it as part of my income but it confused the fuck out of them so I just said never mind. It wouldn't have helped much anyway.

 

Yeah this seems to be a common trend in these jokers that project their "pilots" we're taken by members of society with the upmost intelligence and capabilities

It's also very annoying because it's a condescending way to project that people who complete tasks on mturk are not capable of much. I had the same argument with a requester last year and he basically copy pasted an email to everyone that his pilot was taken by a student who was earning his PhD in philosophy

Can't really do anything about these people, if they are competent enough to have their pilot taken by smart people they should use some simple math to calculate rewards or https://fairwork.stanford.edu/
