So Computer Wizards, I call upon thee!

I'm looking to drop BELOW $1600 on a mid tier gaming/working pc. I don't really want a prebuilt but will settle if I must. I have to go near ground up outside of the case(nzxt mid) and power supply(600 bronze) and peripherals.

I slapped that together and would like some input and ideas on what should or might be able to be changed. I am not as versed in this as I would have like and google leads me to being confused after enough time staring at it. All help is appreciated.

I would go bigger than 600 watt. If you expand you could be pushing it. One time investment.

 

parts are fine, prices are HIGH, check newegg since i know some of that stuff ive recently looked at and is far cheaper.

 

Newegg runs weekly discounts. Might be be able to find a gold mine on a single part, and then wait a couple of weeks and find another, instead of ordering them all in 1 day.

 

i was actually just looking at my weekly/daily emails and going to say almost that.
NEVER buy everything all at once, pieces go on sale daily/weekly and never at the same time.

 

And actually I take back my 600 watt statement. It's probably fine for what you do. I was envisioning if I was buying.

Spending as much money on the CPU cooler as the CPU is weird IMO.

If it's legit a work PC, get a better CPU. I have the 7 3700x & love it and have a $45 CPU cooler doing fine in my 80-85* office.

 

Slickdeals is good if you monitor it a lot. Slick deals effect drains hots deals fast before they are gone.

 

its a Noctua, im not shocked, thats like Tier 1 cooling, premium gaming type cooler.
would i use it? no, i have my stock AMD Ryzen 5 cooler and no issues
