I am not familiar with the Rangers team much so I don't know if they even have someone who would be able to hand Wilson the knuckle sandwiches but what dude did is just stand up for his team mate. It's more about respect than winning the fight, I guess. Hockey is weird but there usually is a "code" these guys go by, and it is to step up for your guys. Wilson broke that code when he punched people being down, and body slammed Panarin who in no shape or form were a threat to him.

 

And on top of that the league decided to just fine Wilson $5000 which is a slap to face of the Rangers, and a joke by the league.

 

And now Wilson wont return to the game because of "an upper body injury"

 

This Wilson guy sounds like a massive tool. I guess I gotta be a fan of the other team now.
