I know this is a "shame on me" moment, but I took a chance on a requester with an 88% approval rate and encountered a brand new novelty: an attention check AFTER the survey code. I completed the study, was awarded with a survey code, continued to the next page expecting a debriefing or something, and basically got hit with a trap that resulted in a "you have failed an attention check, please return this HIT" notice. Which was too late, since I had already submitted the HIT.

I emailed the requester but I'm really displeased about this. Luckily there was IRB info on the consent form and I fully intend to utilize it if I end up getting rejected--the idea that you could screen somebody out after they've already provided you with full data for your study and passed all the other AC's is absurd.
