Seriously though, my mental image of you was much smaller. I don't know if it's because I have no idea what younger people are looking like these days, or maybe it was your profile pic playing tricks on my mind.

But take it from an older individual, you should start cutting out the cokes now before you hit 30 and your body starts to hates you. Also, eat a veggie for goodness sake

 

I'm 6'1, ~ 210 pounds of muscle (slightly less now because I'm currently taking a break from gym and not taking my creatine). Have been lifting things and putting them back down since my Freshman year of college.

Wow! You've made really good gains. It's crazy you have visible abs at 210 . You must look absolutely juicy! Has creatine made that big of a difference for you? Alright, enough bro talk. I'm more into calisthenics than weight lifting, so gaining isn't really my goal, but I'll keep all that in mind next time I feel like beating myself up over poor food choices.

I hate gym bros. For me lifting is just about keeping my body healthy* / having good posture / having no imbalances / having great conditioning.

* Weird thing to say after advocating for no fruit diet and drinking Coke, but

I've been getting a lot into burpees last couple months. Absolutely love them. IMO best conditioning exercise there is. Works out every single major muscle in your body and also shoots your heart rate to the moon in like 1 minute.

You should check out ThenX/ Chris Heria. I'm sure you'll cringe at his weight lifting stuff, but his calisthenics stuff is top notch. A lot of his workouts require quite a bit of cardiovascular endurance, but you might be one of the few people who can complete his workouts without dying.
