I'm new here, been using mturk on and off for several years. I've run into a problem today that I've never had before. When I open my queue and click work on the HIT I have in there, it opens and refreshes or returns back to the queue. I have a code to put in for the completed survey but I don't know how to get it to open.

Anyone use or have experience with a KVM switch? I want to be able to swap my monitors, keyboard, mouse and headphones from "work" laptop to personal desktop PC

 

Do you have another window/tab open somewhere with that HIT active? It'll keep advancing to the "next" HIT (which if there is none is just your queue) if the one you are trying to work on is open elsewhere.

I have used them many times in server rooms for companies I have worked for. What do you wanna know? A KVM can for sure switch monitors, mouse and keyboard. I've not seen one that included headphone though. They may exist.

I am so sorry you had to experience this but thank you for sharing. I am going through similar, I look at my dog and randomly cry, I don't know what or when will be the day he decides it's too much to fight for. I try to be happy when he will run and play in the park.
I've been a mess with life, but it's these memories that I ask if all these good times are going to be worth the pain when he is not there, because the pain is already here now, and I'm going to stop typing because my message is not coming off as happy
