06/21 - Morale Boost Monday

Well my night was fun.

My computer was BSOD'ing all day yesterday, and I came to the conclusion it might have been the boot SSD that was the issue (I hope). So after it not allowing me to freaking install Windows on a different SSD for 4 hours, I finally made it work and I am now in the progress of installing everything again.

I hate computers.

Only thing I slightly worry about with the new one is that it is a M.2 SSD that is RIIIIIGHT under my GPU. I worry that it will get too hot under load but we will see. Ordered a 1B Crucial so compensate for the loss of the old one that I suspect was causing issues.

 

Good morning terrific turkers! Had a great weekend. Got a cricut machine on clearance for a great price on Saturday. Can't wait to label EVERYTHING in the house. lol. And, also, pretty excited it's Prime Day. Already went shopping. ‍♀️

 

get a heat spreader for the ssd, they have super thin ones if you dont have a ton of room. itll make a massive difference in the head even sandwiched between the gpu like that

Also holy shit, put your seat belts on people! People getting angry about wearing masks makes perfect sense when you realize that people refuse to wear their seat belts to prevent themselves from flying through their windshield and smashing into a tree if they get into a car accident. You don't even notice that you have it on, it's completely unintrusive and will save you from a life time of pain.
