Cons:
Full attention required for mindless tasks. Half of bonus is disclosed, the other half will be determined within 2 weeks by the choices of another participant (even though you already did the work for the bonus).
Cannot do this any faster. It is timed in 2 30 minute segments plus instructions/practice.

When I started turking again back in December, my aim was just to get to whatever number I could until the HITs ran dry. I did not really have a goal, but figured a few extra dollars would be nice to have. Then over the months I slowly bumped that up to $10 a day as I was getting into my groove finding HITs, looking at reviews on Turker View, getting closed quals through Qualify, finding HITs through Turk Guru, etc...

Figuring out that "Submit and Export" actually went somewhere (here) has been a blessing. Thanks to this forum, I have been snagging better HITs than I had been on my own. Finally figuring out how some of the MTS tools work, such as HIT catcher and HIT finder has also helped me to snag more HITs. I was always pressing the O and M buttons, but could never snag a HIT...

This week I decided to get a little more serious by setting my goal to $100 a week, or $20 a day. I figured I had been doing better overall so why not. Some days I will hit $20, possibly exceeding that with ease, while other days I would struggle to meet that (e.g. weekends, slow days), but as long as I can average out to hit my weekly goal, I would be happy. It is Thursday night and I have just met my daily goal and I am also on track to exceed my weekly goal.

To everyone here that contributes by leaving reviews, by giving advice and/or feedback, and for the banter, thank you! Hopefully I can contribute in kind that is helpful to others as well.
