Yeah, tbh the videos don't matter at all. The only thing that matters is getting ads between videos (since they pay per ad view). Its like an advertisement pyramid scheme IMO, but who am I to judge the marketing wizards who came up with this ridiculousness.

Its complete booty for some people. I should NOT have tested it on my main PC since I do all my shopping on this (which makes me a prime sucker for advertisements) & it runs faster than most throwaway laptops/old phones folks are likely to run this stuff on. Huge stupid moment on my part

I think its just new feature syndrome. Bunch of folks trying it out / needing to get their feet wet so the discussion will be higher than average for a few days then we'll be back to breaking HIT notifier and spamming gifs as normal LOL.
