So out of all those stupid expensive non-dairy based protein drinks Owyn wins by a mile. It's not grainy and tastes decent when chilled. Figured you were sitting on the edge of your seat for this update.

 

I'm about to turn 14 soon too.

I made the terrible mistake of ordering 12 of the Evolve double chocolate online. I regret this every sip that I take. I'm totes ganna probs order the Owyn online though because no where carries a large supply of them. Amazon carries them. Spend you hard earned Amazon money on the Amazon company store!

 

At least you guys get some logical pathway to follow. The other night tiny turk said "dada up please" and I said "okay" yet she melted down into "no, move away!" for ? ? ? ? ? ?

Doing chores sucks. I empathize w/ the 10-14 y/o age bracket

I try but with my older one (she is 9) it is hard. She has a behavioral and mood disorder so she is on meds every day, therapy, etc. When you piss her off, she gets ANGRY. And when she gets angry, she rages. Like, a temper tantrum on steroids and it can last for hours. So it is often difficult to try to balance the art of picking and choosing my battles. My younger one who is 6 is so much easier. She just goes with flow.

my son was like "Ive been doing chores for 7 years now...I need a break!" He has three....feed the cats, walk the dog, and put the dishes away/load hte dishwasher...
I stopped..uh what? Ive been doing chores since I was 7 as well, wheres my break? I don't wanna cook for you, wash your clothes (really for anyone on clothes..Ive begged to become nudists, never happens)... Then I told him well if you get a break I get a break...So that means, no food, no clothes, nothing...cuz all the "chores" I do are for your well-being. He shut up after that one.
