yeah I'm actually kind of wondering if they are subcontracting them or something to that effect. I mean we saw before (long ago) that AMT chapped some companies asses for trying to muscle in and third party posting hits and such. i find it really odd they are letting CR/TP just run rampant like this and publish hits the way that they do. its so weird.

that being said, if they are, they are doing the absolute worst shit show work they can lol

 

No worries. The hit in question is from MLData. I like to do some of their hits but they post so many daily that my pandas get full and I have to manually delete them constantly... I like to do the quick ones but its starting to not be worth it having to clog up my pandas

FYI I figured out my sound problem is with the stereo cable I'm using - its a stereo to mono cable and apparently one of the channels is bad, so it was playing most things but this specific sound wasn't coming through

FWIW I'm very reasonably confident this isn't happening.

Also MTurk has always allowed third party recruitment TOS violations to go unpunished AFAIK.. Positly is fine & does most of what TP does, Hybrid just straight up posts recruitment tasks and leaves them sitting there like a bad Billings batch then begs their workers not to tattle on them, and tons of requesters have bailed after building their own platform and using MTurk to take their workforce w/ them.

 

Funny story. I used to work at a company and had a co-worker with a lotto ticket hung in his cube with the winning numbers highlighted. He used to play the same numbers every week unless the winnings were "too low". One week the jackpot was under 10million (multi state powerball I believe), so he didn't play. His numbers he played every week hit! So he leaves that ticket hung on his cube wall to remind/torture himself. Guess 7 or 8 mil wasn't worth his $2.

Oh that's a terrible story! I don't pick my own numbers because this would just devastate me!

 

I can imagine Amazon literally not doing anything to address or even really monitor anything. I'm sure basically no attention at all is paid to anything going on here. I mean even spammers using this platform to game Amazon's own store algos is running rampant
