I should know better than to attempt any study that needs to load special experiment software.

Such software often requires substantial working memory.

On my pathetic $190 2GB laptop, the web browser quickly runs out of memory.

If I ever start making actual money, I'll buy myself a real computer.

 

... No I can't add more RAM to my laptop — it's so low-end that it doesn't even have a slot for that.

Low-end but I love the stupid thing, it's one of Lenovo's last "cheap netbook" things of its kind.

 

It's light, it's cheap, it works, it has everything I need for most things EXCEPT anything that needs more than a smidgen of memory. LOL
