That is a good point. For some reason my pea brain wasn't working too well and I literally spaced out before sending off the message. I go back into surveys all the time using HIT Tracker.

 

I have a very good family actually, there is just twenty million of us. It usually pays off for the kids (spoiled), I get nice gift cards though so not complaining.

 

Send the requester a message explaining the situation. It happened to me once and I asked for the link to the survey and finish it in exchange for HIT approval. Communication goes a long way with most requesters. Good luck!
