12/19 - Marzipan Monday!

I would need to replace vertical monitor with an IPS. As it is my vertical one REALLY wasn't meant to be rotated and has a horrible color shift if you look at it from the right but if you are to the left of it everything is fine.

(My horizontal monitor is an IPS display but I would need to get a VESA mount for it)

 

I've always had a thing for looking at other peoples setups. I like to go on r/battlestations a lot and look at all the cool setups.

 

If anyone wants a Dell stand that does this for the cost of shipping, it's yours. Note, the mounts are weird; it's these tabs and not VESA. However, stand allows free height [slides up and down] and the square rotates. My four monitors [five when I hook up the replacement] are on arm mounts, so I don't use stands at all, and the stand in question is from the broken monitor. I have no use for it.

 

oh! i said something a few days ago about having vertical monitors.

I have to restate what @Randomacts said; having one is such a great thing, but the other monitor is better left horizontal (games, videos).

I mean, just look at this forum, the outside edges have large grey blank areas... not on vertical display

Anything that works will be fine. TN panels often won't work even with an arm because of horrible color shifting but a good IPS monitor can be viewed at almost any angle without color shift so they work perfectly. And yes they are awesome for comics ect.. let me find something SFW
