yea those are demographic questions, theres alot but i got them done in an hour or less then the next day (today) i have alot of surveys popping up now

 

I haven't seen anything on Prolific in forever. I think that TikTok dumbbell scared a lot of the researchers away.

 

I mean I made this account months ago, it was dead until someone on here , I dont recall who told me to contact them about my account, i did that and now have alot of surveys available

 

My thing with Prolific is I heard that you have to submit your photo ID. That's the only thing veering me from it and I just heard about the TikTok thing also. Idk though, still on the debate.

I'm not making anywhere near what I used to on prolific. I used to pull in $60 a week just in the mornings, but now that's like my monthly. I had a good day yesterday though... I'm also old so it may just be my demographics are dusty...

 

For me it varies there will be times where I get a lot of surveys then a dry spell. It's not completely reliable but nice to have on the side.

Prolific highly emphasizes "naiveté" in their marketing, meaning when you're "new" to taking studies you'll qualify for a lot because they can sell you as a "naïve" participant.

Once you put a bunch of studies under your belt you'll be in the same camp as most folks (assuming your demographics aren't so rare that P can't afford to dump you) where you won't get nearly as much work.
