Depends on the task. For most heavy lifting, C or C++ gets the job done. I'll fuss with Java or Jscript if its something scripting related. You could probably twist my arm and I'd maybe fuss with C#.

I've worked on some ye olden stuff that still runs COBOL or ASM. Although nowadays, I'm more likely to rewrite any ASM stuff into C.

Speaking of.. I think that answered my question about QBC Its a standalone app and not an extension right? So not platform agnostic. Don't work over here in linux land?
