i really hope that all these sawtooth reqs pay out... seems a little odd to me there are so many different req profiles appearing

 

All of the ones from Thursday and early Friday paid out for me.

I would guess a platform needed a larger base vs. its own site's signup, and began rerouting to MTurk.

 

I think they're from a university class or something.. a lot of "team X" in their title/names

 

etc.

 

I initially thought they were an MBA class, as we had to do something similar, to vet, market, test reception for design ideas. However, there's been so many of them since Wednesday, it would have to be a large class with multiple ideas from each person! Some of them are very established brands as well!

Edit: Universities sometimes do collaborate, but Goff is at Eccles, and there's Washington State, Kroger, North Face, Virginia Tech, Duke MBA program etc. all doing their own. It seems unlikely, but could be a very large collaboration from 10+ Business programs.

The rejection I received on Prolific the other day was overturned, but the researcher also messaged me to say they won't be using my data. Still slightly miffed that the initial rejection was for "taking too long". So I'm now at 888 approvals and 0 rejections, so there's that.

They're too similar to not be related, as all of the options are the same prices: $300 or $400. I assume a bunch of universities are collaborating as well. They could be sister programs.

 

That's the basic Sawtooth Software. Anyone who uses it will have that default format, as well as the basic amounts of $300/400 as the generic "cheaper" and "more expensive" options, often used as attention checks. If you want an attention check, it lets you make a choice that has all similar options, except the price, since people answering attentively will prefer the $300 over the $400.

Qualtrics has more varieties, but SurveyMonkey, Redcap, Sawtooth, Lime, etc all have a distinctive look. That version we have seen frequently is the default version of the Sawtooth layout. You can get it yourself if you want to make a survey,
