I wanted more raised planters so I made some from stuff I got a thrift stores. Laundry baskets lined with fabric or burlap to look really cute.

THEN. The very next day we were meeting the trash hauler at a rental that's vacant and being sold and what do you know? Many GINORMOUS planters there. So I took them all, shared some with a friend, and now have more "garden" space than I know what to do with, lol. I bought a bunch of lettuce, peppers, beans, onions and squashes to grow in them. I'm excited. I have arranged things so they are literally right outside my back door. If I need green onions I barely take a step to find them and snip off what I require. It's kinda awesome.

Kinda expensive to get started though, with all the soil required. Thank you mturk for financing my gardening and yarn addictions, lol.
