    New Kitty Update (that y'all didn't ask for!):

    New Kitty's name is Nuki. For "New Kitty." This name was a group effort. Wasn't my most favorite name, but it won in the family vote.

    He won't leave my room yet, he wants to, but he's still too nervous. But I go in there and hang with him. Here's a pic of him helping me with the yarn I am using to crochet a queen size bedspread:

    He's SUPER FREAKING SWEET. And loves all people. All visitors to my home have come in and said hey to him in my room and he warms right up to them.

    Looking forward to the day when he joins the family in the rest of the house. And I hope he can bond with at least one of my cats. Right now all three of the OGs merely tolerate each others' presence.

    That reminds me so much of a cat I used to have - there was just something really special about her. She was so placid and so gentle. She was like a little kitty monk. She also seemed to have the wisdom of the ages in her eyes. I don't know...there's just something about Maine Coons...they can melt the coldest heart.
