    ...

Thank you for your completely divergent opinions. Super helpful. Way to go team.

Whatever I discovered after syncing that I'm only $15 from goal bc I forgot I did csats on my phone earlier, which is doable, so I'mma duck out. :D

When it comes to mTurk I put health (sleep, gym, food) above pennies. IME mTurk has a way of breaking good habits & self discipline because of that whole "gamification" "oh shiny penny" type thing. You might hit goal by skipping out on the gym, putting off eating, or staying up late - but are you really building good habits from that? Part of goal setting revolves around accomplishing those goals in realistic time windows - so my view on it is no.

YMMV, to each his own, etc etc. But if you're looking for 2 cents there's mine, now please gimme $2. Inflation is a Grinch :emoji_joy:

I hear that. But my PE definitely went up when I stopped the gym battle.
Bought a power tower (for chins and dips), weights to strap to myself for chins and dips, kettlebells for squats etc...
Trying to schedule the most low traffic gym time against turking was getting to be too much for me. Besides missing the eye candy, my workouts & my PE have been much more consistent now.

You can always download apps that will sync to a Misfit, UP, or any other fitness tracker and pay for X amount of points. There are 3-4 out there currently. Make money while you work out... solve both problems.

Fair enough. I live 3 blocks from my gym so I don't have any issues with scheduling. And I usually do about an hour of lifting and an hour of cardio to get my sweat on and I don't have that sort of space in my apartment. I have bowflex dumbbells but they aren't heavy enough for me anymore :(

I use Walgreens Balance Rewards and Achievemint. Got my allergy meds for free and Achievemint gives you points for tracking food, weight, steps, workouts, etc, so it's really easy to get to $20.
