~200mbps is good enough for most stuff but I hate how comcast only gives us ~12mbps upload

Well fuck that then I am calling Comcast to Grinch...they said it was sposed to be fast

 

I have more than a 12 "upload" for them

 

Suddenlink is 100mbps but I only get 55-60 on wifi. But in WV it is still better than sucky Frontier's 3mbp.

Before mine, I was getting 40 mbps tops. It's killing me that it's not stable.

 

I have 100 as well, but only getting 30 on wifi, and that's on the 5G band.

 

You don't even have a broadband internet connection. Do you live in the middle of nowhere?

 

Also, did some answer whether returning a "Slow Down" pin will reset the lockout? One expired on my crap Innienet

 

Nah I have cable, just the slowest plan that they don't even officially have.

 

Fuck wifi. Wire everything that matters with ethernet. Unless you know what you are doing (I do) and have proper equipment your wifi network will have shit speeds.

Yes but the slow down error lasts for 30min so you have to clear your queue anyways.

Also to be honest I haven't lost much since downgrading. Sure, I miss being able to download steam games in like 15 minutes and streaming on twitch but that's about it.

 

Of course. I have my custom PC wired up. I just wish the fraction wasn't so hard for my laptop. It still seems to have more Chrome power than my custom for strange reason.

I just accepted another one to confirm if I was locked out and shot myself in the foot, so that's why I asked. I haven't been Slow Down'd in a while. I just Golden out from broken pins.

 

He probably doesn't want to be chaired to the wired internet. I don't either..yet (until I get a freelance job that requires it).

 

I am going slow and still getting them and making up for the slowness by doing audiokites. However I don't know if I can listen to "99 bananas" EVER again.
