If you need something steady you might apply for the Social Media evaluator position with Appen. I did it for awhile but it requires 3-4 hours a day five days a week and it's pretty dull work I won't lie lol, But it's guaranteed income. It was just too much for me to keep up with on top of my full time day job and Turking.

I've been lying in wait for someone to mention Appen.

Do you have any clue what you're supposed to do when you're on a project and aren't going to have computer access for a week? Is there someone to tell or are you just off the project?

Yes. There is a process for taking time off. They alot you what I thought was a pretty generous number of days per work period. I don't remember exactly what that period was though lol.

 

Can pins wait a little bit longer to drop please,. I still haven't had my waffle.

 

I should add that was for the Social Media project. Each project is different and has their own set of procedures but there are always people you can contact. I've actually done more for their Australian office than the US one lol. They do a lot of transcription and voice verification projects.
