    @Sunlite if its any help Amazon Payments says to just try again after the first failure, then has some ever increasingly useless steps because more than likely just redoing the xfer will push it through.

    @ChrisTurk guilted me into looking it up. It's 6 transactions per statement and includes to/from your bank. I would think the Amazon payments transfers to Ally wouldn't count against that though.

    This happened to me this morning too, without any explanation. Is it possibly an error on Amazon's side, then?

    We've weirdly has this conversation before on the forum but the 6 transfers/month from a money market/savings account is a federal limit. On a federal level, a direct deposit into your bank account doesn't count against those 6- it only cares about outgoing transfers. That's the Federal Reserve (Regulation D) slamming their iron fist down! I personally have my direct deposits go into my checking account and just bump a certain amount into my savings each month but everyone has their own preferences. My stupid memory refuses to let me forget this information- thanks for that brain!
