I just finished that one, too. Definitely underpaid, but it was an easy hit for a Saturday. A better bonus or shorter hit would have been nice, though.

I'd be more forgiving if they would fix the pop up error msg that comes up every single time the page loads (so over 100 pop ups per hit).... its been over a year now and they still haven't fixed it. Makes doing their hits a major drag on top of the fact they are already brain draining repetitive

Unless its something on my end, but I can't find anything in my browser related to the error

 

Sorry, I'm confused. Did you receive error pop-ups during the task? It opens a few tabs when I first launch the hit, but that's it. I'm using Chrome with uBlock Origin if that makes any difference or not.

 

Hmm I guess I'll have to try to figure out what's going on then. For me, every single one of their hits comes up with a small pop up msg saying I have pop ups disabled in my browser and to enable them for the experiment. I've tried changing all those settings and it makes no difference. I've disabled ad blockers, disabled popups, nothing fixes it

Its every single time the hit advances, so during the initial test, all 85 trials, every single question at the end.. each time I get a pop up error that I have to hit OK to move on

 

Ugh, that's got to be extremely frustrating and aggravating to say the least. I don't receive those pop-ups. Have you tried another browser or Incognito mode for those tasks?

 

I'm using Chrome so it shouldn't be the browser. I'll have to experiment next time I catch one. Maybe just enabling ublock will fix it

 

I'm looking through my uBlock settings to see if I set anything specific, since I never received those errors.... Good luck, though. Hope UBlock fixes it for you. Are you currently using a different pop-up blocker for Chrome?

I'm currently not using any extensions for Chrome regarding adblock. I only use Chrome for turking

 

For those doing the jury tasks on Connect, do you link your MTurk ID when it asks for it? I guess they could prevent users from doing the same jury HIT on both sites, but I don't see them on anything but Connect these days.
