I had no idea Prolific even had quals. I don't usually get anything less than 1p though. I got .15 this morning, but that was unusual. Do people who have their queues filled up, have low paying surveys?

 

PE: Around $20 between all sites and that is honestly high for me for the last couple of months

I agree. I have been on Prolific since March of last year and it is my main source. Maybe it takes time to build up quals. Today am currently at £16.20 and still going and I have been at it on and off. This time of day usually starts getting very busy on Prolific for me. It also has quite a few very early in the morning before MTurk starts up.

 

sometimes those might be quals. always quadruple check your interpretation...

They are all over the place for me today from .12 to 6.75 today. Funny how I had 4 at .47. Thats a weird number.

 

Do you think it is maybe .50 USD? Sometimes they list surveys at what they would be in dollars.

 

I didn't know they had quals either...unless you mean the demos. I do most surveys that they 'serve' me unless the pay is horrendous per hour or I know from jump that I don't qualify (Stuff for parents, married ppl, etc.) I started tracking more carefully this year (I wasn't doing much when I had a FT job) and Prolific's by far the best of the 3 for me (Mturk and Connect being the other two.)

 

Any platform that has screeners posted can have quals. You take the screener to get the qual. I've seen it on Prolific and Connect

 

I guess I don't notice the screeners on Prolific because I don't get them. I get higher paying surveys than that. I can't always catch them, but I always get high paying surveys.

 

@I Got Cookies yeah, sometimes those arise from quals. especially when you talk about it here but no one else can see it. It's not like turk where they show the quals, but they also don't let requestors gain the system. sometimes those surveys that look super crappy lead to long term batchwork.
