I bang these off all day long. Each one take a few seconds. They add up. Gotta chatch then all...social, dating women, dating men, business. THey flow constantly every day

 

Oh yeah that is where they are. But yeah you can only do it once. They cannot be updated again, as far as I know.

 

I have been only been told from MTurk to do the quals that come up periodically. But they never change anything in the system. So even though I've aged up out of one category, I keep getting the same HITs for an age range I'm not in anymore. Repeated attempts.

Yeah, that is exactly it. From what I have heard (and I think I have redone them when they post) they don't actually update your demos when you redo the new Hits, LOL.

I reported that as an underpaid study. Something that I've been doing a lot of today. My queue has been filled with studies paying 5/hr and less all day. Ugh.

 

Regarding being kicked out of Prolific surveys for IP not matching stated location- most likely that is the req and not Prolific.

Also on Prolific and Connect they are able to compare your demo answers against what you have in your Profile questions, and if your answers don't match they will kick you out sometimes. I guess it must be free or cost less than the MTurk Prems

Yeah, that sounded like an IP issue to me. That is also really good it is just for that requester. Also, I am unfamiliar with prolific, just read about it here.

If that's the same survey as last night, its one of the worst I've ever encountered

2 "write a detailed story about an object for 5 min" prompts, endless word associations to a picture (min 5 words on each, all pages timed), many many more pages of various writing and stupid questions. It still took me less than the stated 50min but I was so pissed

That TriMac survey had a ton of pages also that showed the same objects you already wrote stories about, already wrote word associations for, and then on each page asked if you are familiar with the object and what you use it for... like 20 objects or something. I don't remember what the other recent survey I did for Tri Mac was but remember being similarly pissed off about it. Prob won't do any more of their work
