I notice the username is UChicago, wonder if that's Chicago Booth.

 

Took me 45. There's a timed part that you can't skip. There's also an Inquisit-like task at the very end after the progress bar for the Qualtrics survey finishes. I would expect it to take longer, as I'm one of the fastest turkers (according to TV data).

Pros:
About 40 multiple choice questions (agree, disagree, etc.) about yourself.

Cons:
Tells you to plan on taking about 11 minutes - but I don't know how. Also, mentioned we would get results based on our answers upon completion (didn't happen). Gives completion code but ended kind of abruptly. And not sure why, but the timer only showed 10 seconds for me when I went to leave this review (but I didn't turn off the timer when I started - so something was broken there).

TWO-PART Political judgment study - Took me almost exactly 40 min moving quick. They committed the cardinal sin of Inquisit type tasks by making you slider-rate after every keystroke

 

Can someone help me with QBC? I Have some requester watchers, but if a panda is created from a watcher in that way, it never turns off. So I have to go in and manually turn them off after awhile if nothing's caught, which is a bit annoying. Can I set them to turn off after a certain number of cycles like the platform watchers do?

 

the req watchers should turn themselves off - I've never experienced otherwise. They only never stop if you set the group to "None"

The "RID Watcher" group will sometimes last longer than the regular TV Watcher group, depends on the hit. If its taking a long time to turn off, I think its bc QBC views it as still potentially available, not sure what its making the judgments by tho

 

Yeah, I'm turning them off after they've been going 2000-3000 cycles, so obviously at that point something's not working right.

I'm not sure what's happening there if that's the case with all your RID pandas. That doesn't happen to me. It sometimes happens to specific Reqs & I've never known why, but that's very rare. They last a little longer than TV Watchers from the scraper but not much.
