I tried writing one but the site I got directed to was so bad I couldn't think of anything nice to say.

 

Probably so. They usually aren't too bad, but one group of them was just awful. It sounded like a warm up instead of an actual song. The guitar was so out of tune and distorted in one that it actually hurt my ears.

 

So, sometimes I feel like just running a Pinterest panda on PC in search mode when I'm feeling lazy.
But lately, I'll look over at PC and see my Pinterest box is red, and I've grabbed no HITs. It's been happening often in the last week, and I can't figure out what it means. It's not a full queue, not HIT # reached... I don't get it. Have they started running some qualed HITs (GASP), or am I just missing something?

Hi @ChrisTurk! I'd like to take advantage of the chance you're giving us to ask you (and whoever'd like to reply) "how is it possible to make CI worth more than $6/hour?"
When they're badly throttled (like the usually are) the only way I find to work is to panda them from the worker side, and to work on them from the queue on mturk after stopping every script there (if I work differently I get tons of PRE and I find myself having to submit the same HIT even 3/4 times before having it successfully accepted).
The average time for loading, work and submit is 5/6 seconds ea = $6-7 / hour: am I doing it wrong? Is it my internet speed?

It would be great if it existed a script that allowed you to work from the head and the tail of your queue in two separate tabs/windows at the same time: is it a total dumbness the one I said?!

I'm also in the market for a crock-pot: in your expert opinion, is this good?

I'm not an expert, but: a crockpot is a crockpot, dude. It'll do the job as long as it's as big as you need (don't EVER get the super small one); also, don't spring for the "smart" crockpot with WiFi, because that feature is dumb, and you'll never use it.

 

This would also do a great deal to change my world. My week completely tanked this week and I only got $76 but have been averaging $125
