However as a person who has owned 3 houses (ok one was a cheap trailer but it counts )I recommend buy what you want and don't worry about cost because you want to get something that lasts and won't regret buying..I had 2 cheap refrigerators (at this house and the last one) and regret it because not enough freezer space.

 

Pre-masters CI's were $13-$14.50/hr for me (some of that due to captcha ADD)
Post masters CI's are $15.20-$16.50/hr for me and that range is entirely due to throttling. So throttling does hurt, a lot.

Some things I did to increase the hourly:

• Install Kada's No HIT Reloader
• Open 3 tabs of them in one window
• Use an AHK script so 1/2/3 auto-sends ctrl+enter

I have some custom scripts that probably pushes me an extra $3-5/hr on them but even the above should give you $8-10/hr so long as you can focus on the task. The biggest enemy of penny batches is poor attention / focus. When you're cranking out hundreds (or thousands) of HITs/hr that means you're doing one every 1-3 seconds.. so even 10 seconds to check the forum or look at scraper adds up incredibly quickly. When you're not multitabbing it can take 3 seconds alone to submit+load the next one, which effectively cuts your hourly in half right off the bat.

You can accomplish this by using Chrome profiles and/or incognito mode and using the Queue Fixer script. Sort one queue by most time left, sort the other by least time left. You need to do it in seperate profiles/incognito for them to not break each other though. Personally I never found this worthwhile since that script is a PRE nightmare, but it might work out better for you. IME using multi-tabs+AHK is a more efficient solution especially since the "setup" time of that is lower. Opening an AHK script is 2 clicks, opening a new Chrome profile, going to queue, sorting it, etc is icky for my personal workflow.

@Clozy this is what I mean w/ your double-end queue thing (I don't think its the most efficient setup, but if you wanted to do it here's a visual lol)

 

I have the smaller version of that one and it worked great, never had a problem with it. I decided I wanted a larger one and got one of these. This has also been fantastic and would recommend one like this with a timer. It's great for when I'm working on a great batch and the timer goes off, then it just switches to keep warm until I can get to it and have dinner.

Thank you very much for your reply! I already tried with three tabs or two windows with some AHK that switches between them, but I always find myself drowned by PREs and with HITs not getting submitted. I also use HIT reloader but very often it takes 2, 3 or more reloads before catching a HIT, and this slows me down a lot.
When I try to use tabs with the stupid google the HITs start being loaded when the tabs are on focus: it happens with the tomnod HITs as well and it's annoying, maybe I should try to multitab with firefox, dunno..
I didnt know about the PRE-problem tied to Queue Fixer script, I guess my first try will be to switch off this one and see if my PREs slow down a little..

Thank you very much for your suggestions but now that I know it exists, I absolutely NEED to have the wi-fi for my future crock-pot: tell the pot to start or stop cooking while sitting on your couch?! Priceless!!
