someone pm'd me that he is able to accept hits today and has had a great day on mturk. I asked him to join the forum to answer questions so let's be nice if he does.

well no one with my closed quals can accept hits or they wouldn't still be up so I'm a little suspicious that there's 1 random guy who can..but it is Mturk so who knows?

I'll be nice if he gives me half of whatever he makes today, and then he has to give half to everyone else here too. So that's around 10 halves.

Ask him if he has that many halfs. First question.
Second, would be a screenshot with proof that he's able to accept things.
Third, ask him if he can buy me a Big Mac. Unrelated to the half he owes me.

But I talked about the way I feel, for me this is my job cause is the only place that I work for the last 5 years, I feed my kids with the money I earn on mturk, if for you is just an extra money for snacks or something like that, good for you!

The only thing I can think of is maybe your friend is using DNS settings that isn't affected by the issue. IDK if that makes sense.
