As an added point, your transfers will likely be fine even if they take sometime. All the suspension does is make it so that you can't do HITs or view your account, and when the site went down yesterday, it was very obvious that such details weren't purged in the slightest

 

@Fearless Turtle I was able to find the comment/post from your post on here but when I go to https://x.com/turkopticon is does not show up. I can only see it from my repost... any ideas why? TO's main page only shows me posts from yesterday and previous.

 

On Twitter, if the first character of a tweet is an @, it doesn't display on their own timeline. It's sorta like the equivalent of posting on someone's Facebook wall vs making a public post.

 

It shows up if you go to the "replies" tab on the profile

The common way to get around that is to start a tweet with a period. For example ".@AWSSupport [rest of tweet here]"

 

I can accept a HIT if it doesn't pay anything like the Amazon info ones so it's definitely just the payments that's screwed up somehow.

 

Got a response to my complaint through mTurk. Have not heard anything back from Amazon Payments.

 

This is such a load, like they're totally unaware of why hundreds of accounts just got gored?

I can confirm that those suspended can in fact accept and submit $0.00 HITs. I wonder if requesters would be open to offering $0.00 HITs and giving the actual payment through bonus if Amazon doesn't fix this.

Yes, I was able to do a $0.00 hit yesterday even with the amazon payment’s suspension error. I passed on this information to Turk, but have yet to receive a helpful response from them.
