Hello! Did you get those few bad storms this past week? Hope you survived; we're fortunate to rarely have power outages.

Heh yep, with $11.05 current earnings.. Luckily it's just 'fun money'; but I know a lot of people use them to help out with their utilities (I have one bill and been paying it via Connect earnings) so I hope Amazon sorts this out soon!

 

It sounds to me like the issue is very much related to Amazon Payments, in whatever fashion that may be. If you're able to accept a hit from Mturk, even if the value is $0.00, I cannot image that is a true ban from Mturk.

Does anyone know of anyone who has been banned from Mturk for violating TOS? When someone is banned from Mturk for violating TOS, what message do they get? Does it say their Amazon Payments account has been suspended, or is it a different message?

 

I’m assuming Wednesday night. I saw Mturk came back up Wednesday night (when they were having the site wide issues) but didn’t try to log in till Thursday morning, and when I did, I was suspended.

I’m so sorry yours is still down. I’m crossing my fingers that Amazon is currently rolling out a fix.

 

Yes, we got it. A lot of wind damage here, downed power lines and tree branches everywhere. The power flickered but we didn't lose it totally.

 

Just got an email from Amazon payments!!!

For the peeps that got their payments accounts back up and running, what steps did you take during the suspension so that people can follow on your footsteps. For the ones still suspended, hold on, as it seems that this will get resoled soon.

My husband’s account is banned from Mturk (he made it 8+ years ago and never really used it). I had him check it during this brouhaha and his gives a message of having been suspended by the Mturk team. So it’s a different message.

 

And I am assuming he is not able to accept even the $0.00 hits?

 

A very few reports on other platforms as well, lets hope this is them rolling out a fix for everyone!

 

I have heard reports that they ban accounts that are inactive. Maybe an email to mturk could reinstate it.

just got the same email as above from christine from [email protected]
this was the same address that had previously told me to contact [email protected]
