09/02 - De-stressing Monday

Same here, but I spent all weekend blasting them on Turkopticons social media so I'm probably going to be last

 

I wish I could share my pizza and chocolate cake with the other still-suspended people

 

I hope they unsuspend those who have had this issue since June! Was anyone here restored from that first batch of suspensions?

The most shocking thing to me about this whole suspension fiasco is not that it even happened, but that it's getting fixed on Labor Day (a national holiday / day off).

honestly my best case scenario(outside of avoiding getting suspended at all)was this getting fixed tomorrow which I would have been more or less fine with since today was probably pretty dead anyways

 

TO wants to know who is getting their accounts back. They said it gives them the motivation to keep going. This must be a stickler to get done

 

I think individually addressing because I wasn't suspended until the 28th.

Unsuspended here also! (I filled out the Turkopticon page yesterday and sent a message via the Amazon Payments page this morning - I didn't send a direct email, just through the online form)

I just completed my 1st Ben Peterson 'Rate a Dating Profile Pic' to see if it works... and it did! (I remember looking at those a long time ago but never did any... it looks like they added a bunch of steps/questions than what they were before)

Hope everyone else gets reinstated asap.

 

Yep!!! My little flair on the old forum was "Professional PI Searcher" I had forgotten about Noblis! And Sergey was my favorite. I remember one random night him dropping really high paying HITs (I think $1.50 each?) and making $150 in like an hour. Good times!

 

Not a single person who was suspended during the June issue was unsuspended. In fact, eventually in mid August, mTurk sent everyone who got suspended from June that they "couldn't restore accounts" (which is clearly bullshit at this point) but they were open to making a new mTurk account and starting from the beginning if they wished.

 

I forgot about Giphys and OCMPs!!

 

The gender/year born question is only asked occasionally, if you were to keep doing them at least that one would go away. Only the top "Is it appropriate" and the three main questions are required. Comments are optional still.

 

I'd rather do mindless batch work any day!!

My account is still not functioning properly.
It stopped working on August 28th, and my bank account says Unverified on the Payments....
Mturk sent a payment to my bank account today.
