you're welcome I didn't know what parts would or wouldn't be potentially useful. I just emailed the person whose email address I was given. I hope he can fix my account or at least get it on a path to being fixed today.

 

I contacted MTurk (again) about 30 minutes ago and received an email right afterwards from them providing me with a Case number.

go find axel before he goes to lunch maybe he will help you. you have to choose the option for AWS Sales or something similar. the other ones just produce a bunch of links and suggestions instead of connecting to a person. or like @Jane Doe said, maybe it's a bot. didn't seem like it when I was talking to him, but you never know.

 

Since I received a case number so quickly, try emailing the MTurk again real quick if you can to see if you get a case number email sent back to you.

 

I'm still suspended. I logged into my Amazon Payments account today, clicked on Bank Management and got this message:
"Unexpected error occurred. Please click here and verify if you have completed all onboarding steps." I clicked on "here", Then I got the message: Your Amazon Payments account could not be created, Unfortunately, you are not eligible for an Amazon Payments account."

I just want to add, I have had no problems receiving deposits. In fact, I received a deposit last night.

 

I just figured this out so idk if it will work or not. but I got an email address and name of someone at amazon to email about my Mturk/Payments account by contacting AWS Sales through live chat

I received a payment yesterday too.

 

So just cause I had nothing else to do at the moment I went onto Amazon Payments and tried to verify my bank account that is marked unverified and it won't let me upload anything

Wow, they're actually naming the error this time. Now hoping they restore EVERYONE this time, not just half of us, lol!

OMG!!!! I got my account back!!! yay! No longer suspended.

 

What the heck? Now CloudConnect is pressuring or essentially mandating the 'Confirm your identity now' (it was always optional).

Did anyone else who hasn't handed over the extra personal info to Cloud Research just get an email about this?

The message states: "Please confirm your identity by 09/10/2024 to keep your account in good standing. Not only will this maintain your access to the site, but will also prioritize you for new projects."

This sounds like you will either lose your account/access to the site or you will have even fewer jobs available. What gives? I already know I probably have less work because I don't want to hand over ALL my personal info (I'm OK with that), but this seems a bit much - especially with all these Amazon suspensions just happening. It seems like we are getting hit from all sides to take away access to work.

I just thought I'd ask here as I know many also do tasks there. Off to their Reddit subforum to see if others are getting this email and a set date to comply.
