09/03 - Trying Tuesday

Didn't get one yet, but expecting it. Not ideal, but it's the same thing Prolific required, so to me, it is what it is. But I certainly get your frustration.

 

I know I haven't been conversing but I have been reading hoping to glean some knowledge. Wanted to let you know I just came back from suspension. I had been down since 8/26.

 

Feels so good to have my account back up and running! Just submited my first task since a week and it feels good! lol

Yes, I got the same message I haven't been doing any studies for CloudConnect since I received this ultimatum. I'm waiting for all of my approvals to go through on studies/surveys that I have finished... then I will move on and find another platform. I have no confidence in this company to keep my identity protected with all the breaches we have been having of late I think its a bad idea. My family and friends are saying not to do it.

 

Let's see what happens to their little platform if nobody complies. Are they going to shut down? I don't think so, they'll never go away.

 

My Payments account was still verified with no errors while I was suspended.

 

I've ignored this. I have a Cloud account that I only half-heartedly check when it says there's a survey. It's not mandatory, unless you're doing a lot, I think. That is, I haven't done this, and I haven't lost it, and I haven't been threatened.

I'm really not comfortable sharing so much information about myself. Doesn't id.me offer some verification? Since the IRS and SSA require that now, and they've already got my info, it sure would be nice if they could confirm without harvesting.

Someone just yesterday was commenting on being a bit skeptical about how legit the company was, too...

Though, the statement from the Amazon rep gives me hulk levels of rage.

 

Honestly I'm shocked that ANYONE on the Amazon chat even knows what Mturk is let alone anything about it

 

I just refreshed MTurk and I could see my transaction history!
Just tested and I can accept HITS.
Fingers-crossed for everyone else to get their accounts fixed soon.

I got that message too which is weird because I could have sworn I actually did that already like a year ago

but it's just an ID picture for identity verification through a reputable third party and it was easy to do and only took me like 2 minutes so I don't see any point getting upset over it
