I remember doing that one quite a while back. Over a month or 2 ago...Not sure when you took it, but (at that time) there were occasional (20 min. ?) targets just to make sure I was actively watching.

 

Are there still 14 people suspended or have they not yet updated their poll answer after being restored? I hope it's not that high even though it's an improvement from yesterday's numbers. Really was hoping everything would be restored by end of today, luckily there's still time and this doesn't bleed into tomorrow.

 

The overall suspensions reported to Turkopticon are over 200, we are getting a lot of reports of accounts overturned but we still have a ways to go. Keeping in mind not everyone knows of Turkopticon, so that's not a "total" just the cases we know about.

 

I have yet to be unsuspended, and there's still more people who need to be unsuspended according to TurkerNation.

 

I messaged aws again today and told them I knew there was a bug and was only looking for a time frame for it to be fixed. Was fixed for me about two hours ago. Might be worth a shot sending them another message.

 

One thing I've noticed, as everyone reports their accounts being unsuspended, is the frequent mention of PickFu as the test HIT. It makes me wonder if PickFu might actually be the culprit behind this dumpster fire, rather than @AlexZ trying to boost forum attendance. Think about it—nobody really enjoys doing a PickFu, but now, with thousands of people needing a HIT to see if they were unsuspended, it's no surprise that PickFu is their go to. They've probably never seen so much attention.

 

I have actually been doing PickFu HITs long before the suspensions started and continued all the way through today for gathering acceptance numbers. I never got suspended so I'm not sure it's that. Not saying it's not but I am still wondering why my account never got suspended.

 

I think that actually supports the theory. You never got suspended because you were already a dedicated PickFu enthusiast.

 

I wouldn't say enthusiast, but I see your point. But how could they have anything to do with suspensions as they're a requester? Just curious...

 

Around 2022 or somewhere around there, some new member had this crazy idea to create a place where Turkers could get together to shoot the shit and discuss daily HITs. Seemed rather novel at the time.

Yes, it's annoying, but unfortunately their standard MO. You have to do a new qual test for every single batch.

I've been doing PickFus almost daily since 2015 and still got suspended lol. I did a Ben Peterson as a test HIT

 

Shoot, I decided I wasn't going to test with a small one.
If I was going to get something today it would be worth it so I went for a $1.50 HIT. lol

 

who all knits sews weaves spins crochets here now? I used to know but now I can only think of 2-3 people. I instacarted yarn to get here within an hour. I want to weave a scarf with it on my "rigid heddle" weaving loom. my scarf is going to be pink and peach. would love to know what you guys have made!
