How do I get New Turker off my avitar? I am not new I started in 2015 when AMT had a totally different GUI!

 

Not sure how to have it removed because this board is just running as is for quite some time without any moderators that I can see.

It's not about the date, rather how active you are on the forums. Also, if you look at EVERYONE's member badges, everyone started 3 years ago...

 

I like how he is scrubbing too... Kinda reminds me of how I scrub my floors with the spin mop when the floors need a good ole' scrubbin'.

 

On a sour note... I have tried all day long to get any HIT's... I have been able to get none... not sure what is wrong or going on. Only message I get the entire day (and still right now) is: Unavailable

What does this actually mean?? Have a I hit a quota for the week or month or something?? I've not been able to find anything other wise that says anything is wrong with my account. I have done over 700 surveys... maybe that is it. Still learning what all of the errors mean... I just joined as a turker worker back in March of this year. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated very much!! Have a great night!! MGB!!

 

I learned a long time ago to not really count on work on sundays. Weekdays are much better.

by the way, have u tried user testing?

 

I sure hope so... this is the first Sunday that I have not been able to do atleast one HIT. I figured there was a block on my survey quota or something... I have found this to be a learning experience. I use Mypoints, inbox dollars, swagbucks, clear voice, ipsos, and branded surveys to name a few. I have to try out user testing... I made an account, but have not really worked at it... is is more like totally surveys or is it where you have to download games?? I hate downloading games.. I don't have time for games with all of the things I have going on. I homeschool my boys and then sell stuff online as a side hustle on top of surveys and such... I stay really tired, but I do love it all... it's a blessing to be able to find all of the survey type side hustles that actually work.

 

Just checked out usertesting.. turns out there is nothing I qualify for there either... not surprised. There has to be something worth while that will pan out. I have been looking into information about typing jobs and such online that pay.. legitimate of course. Seems there are a ton of work at home jobs that are totally not legit. It would take 2-3 years or more to get a tuber channel going enough to generate anything.. and that is if you have something interesting... I doubt there is anyone who wants to see someone rake their leaves, cooks, do laundry, wach dishes, scrub floors, homeschool, grocery shop, tend to animals and talk to their chickens... There is already a ton of folks that do that and I do not think it would work out like that for me. I have been contemplating starting a channel for over 15 years... but I have nothing interesting... so that is a no go. I would love to know other ideas aside from what I have mentioned.. does anyone know about work at home jobs?? We're a single income household and I try to do what I can to bring something to the table... I have been relying on sales on online marketplace venues for nearly 20 years.. sales hit a huge slump in May. Things stink right now with any ways to try staying afloat...

 

In general, there aren’t any quotas. Amazon doesn’t really care how many surveys you take. Every HIT you complete is just money in their pocket. They do set limits on the number of HITs you can accept: 100 per day for the first 10 days, and then up to 3400 per day after that. If you’re having trouble, it’s probably a supply and demand issue—there’s often more demand for surveys than there is available. You might also be excluded from some surveys for reasons like having already taken them (or a similar one) or not fitting the required demographics.

 

Does having any of the qualifications help anything?? I have tried to get qualified but nothing went though on those either... Any pointers?? There was an article somewhere online that said someone claims to have made $50,000 a year doing surveys and turking.. there is no way that is true. If it was, I would love to know what surveys they take to make that.. because I have sure never found it out myself..
