09/12 - What's Cooking Thursday?

That one was one that just popped up on my MTurk list of HITs. I don't have any special quals or anything.

 

I went to the link and it didn't have anything there.

 

I got it now. Was confused for a moment there...

 

Going for my fourth French press of the day... This one will totally wake me up I'm sure.

 

Awesome to see another fellow French Presser... everyone I know thinks I am crazy for using one.

 

I think I have hit a lull for the moment... have not had any surveys work since 2 hours ago. The one I was working on timed out like seconds before I was able to get the code in it for the hit. Not good for getting my percentages high.. never had that happen to me before. What is the point of giving you 15 minutes when it took nearly the whole 15 minutes to complete the survey?? I stayed steady and worked solely on the survey... still it was a dud.

 

Yeah I like French press a lot. But to be fair, I only make it because I don't really have much choice. I got stranded on this island a few years ago, and the only things I have is a French press and my friend Wilson the volleyball. I wish I had a way to communicate with the outside world and get someone to rescue me, but alas...

 

I get that sometimes. I think they do that so there's a chance they won't have to pay you and get some free surveys done. I have gone through entire surveys and was denied at the very end. Just had one of those a few days ago.

 

Too bad you don't have a way to connect with the world, other users maybe? On some sort of digital web...net, something like that.

 

Maybe premature but I have built a fresh Halloween playlist, and pulled the decorations out. Tomorrow we getting real spooky

 

Also ffs can we get actual Unicode emojis on this aging forum, there's no pumpkin emoji and when I try to add actual emoji they just show up blank

- yet we have AIM/ICQ type beat emoji

 

Plenty of Christmas emojis tho, because that's the only holiday @ChrisTurk acknowledges:
