If I could lay my hands on that UPS driver I would bind him/her up with bandaging so they can see how CONVENIENT they have made it for me this weekend. My BFF is chasing all over town trying to find "short-stretch" bandages and humongous rolls of sterile gause bandaging so we can keep my legs relatively "germ free" for the weekend .... Worst part of this is Amazon has the BEST prices on what I need and that is why we purchase through them. I have NEVER had a delivery to our Private Mailroom be delayed. I am absolutely LIVID and if I end up in the hospital over this UPS is gonna rue the day they "dissed" me! GRUMBLE .....

Aww, I'm really sorry you have to deal with that! You absolutely should rip UPS a new one but until then relax and enjoy a Christmas cocktail! And if anyone's eyes get pecked out in revenge, well, I was sitting in front of my fire!

 

Not that I know your situation but just wanted to throw out some ideas. You might be able to find sterile gauze at your local cvs/drug store or even the pharmacy/health section of your local grocery. As for the stretch bandage if you just need something to hold the gauze in place you might be able to get by with an ACE bandage or even go to a sporting goods store and get athletic wrap/tape.

 

Adding to that, any family type compounding pharmacy is a good place to go too, that's where I usually find more obscure medical supplies I need. Do you have any of the hospital pharamacy/supply stores around maybe? I'm not sure what it's like where you are but here i can find a few near me whenever I need something I can't find as CVS.
