I don't know where you live but If you are by any colleges this is a good time of year to check out their surplus. They sell everything, It is going to be 5 years old but they always have below basement prices

Can confirm, I used to work IT at a school district and at the end of every year (like a month or so after school let out), we would have cheap hardware sales in the auditorium where people could come in and drop like $5-$20 on things. Mind you, like @byesaw said, it's old stuff, but it was extremely popular where I was.

 

I wouldn't pay $10 for that monitor. It is an old low res TN panel.
