06/19 - Monarch Monday

I have a deep love for bubbles, as I often say. It's how I keep off soda for the most part. I got some hibiscus agua fresca from Trader Joes that I've been mixing with raspberry seltzer and OMG, SO GOOD.

 

Yeah, haven't watched the show for a few seasons....and I was getting more frustrated with it the longer that I watched it...
The past few books came out 5 years after the preceding ones, so 7 isn't that much out of character.

 

I'm doing my first William Byrne and the hold music is dope.

 

Honestly, I'm not that big into GoT anymore. Joe Abercrombie and Scott Lynch are both way better authors anyway, and they also put out more than one book every 10 years.

I'm not accusing you of this at all, but I got quite a kick out of all the book readers, who thought the show watchers needed to hear all of the good spoilers ahead of time, now getting a taste of their own medicine.

I swear to god, I had a stranger in a store tell me a spoiler because they heard me and a friend talking about the show.

 

I love GOT, unabashedly, forever. But, everyone can like what they like and that's cool. I DO NOT BEND THE KNEE!
