I have no idea, she's my first and only cat. When I was in the military in Texas I said to a kitty on the street "C'mere" and she came....

 

I went to a cat shelter and that's how my cat picked me! Walked right out of his carrier and rubbed his head against my stomach until I picked him up.

I was sitting on the front step of my ex's house, smoking. This scraggly looking kit was walking by and I said "C'mere Charlie" and she trotted right up to me. She felt really skinny so I grabbed some food, took her to check for a chip. The vet told me she was like 4 months at first, then she went into heat shortly after and they revaluated her to be around 8 months, so I got her fixed, chipped, and the rest is history.

 

I have three, and two of them kept me up all night with a case of the zoomies. I'm allowed to be grumpy at them.

And for those of you who have never seen a cat in heat before, that shit is hilariously strange (to a dog owner in any case)

Dude, you should hear the bizarre noises boy cats make when they smell a cat in heat. Bearnie tried to launch himself through the screen window once, remembered he hates the outdoors, continued to try and lure the female hottie to him via yelling as loudly as possible.
