Check your fan(s) to be sure it is running. Possible over temp. issue. Also open the case and see how much dust has accumulated inside, especially on the processor and graphics card heat sinks, clean if needed.

Next thing I would wonder about are power glitches. But if I remember correctly, you are running a laptop. So unless your battery is bad, you should not see a power glitch out of the wall socket.

@Jagdpanzer That was the other thing I was thinking. I keep it pretty clean inside because it's a T3500 work station so the side panel pops up with a lever, so super easy to access. It has 2 fans on the memory bank which are running and then the graphics card has one which is running as well. I was having power surges last week though, to the point where my home didn't have enough voltage run turn on the A/C or even the electric kettle. Light dimming and getting bright like a haunted house. The electric company checked and the issue has since been fixed, so no more surges. But this issue did start right after that.

Oh no. So this isn't a laptop with a battery?

If the computer was subjected to long periods of low voltage or multiple power spikes: it may have damaged the power supply, done something to the hard drive or other components. Do you have any 'extra' stuff you could disconnect (printers, USB devices, etc) or boards you could pull temporarily just to eliminate some things?

Also, are you certain that the power company has completely fixed the problem? Maybe you are still getting power spikes or brownouts that would not be noticed on A/C units or electric kettles.
