WOTP: So, I had an interview at a store Monday for a part time job. Thought the interview went okay, all in all. They said it was an "initial" interview and they'd contact me sometime next week for a follow up. Well, got an email this Wednesday day saying they "weren't going forward" with my application. They didn't say why, so I have NO idea whether or not to try again in a six months (or whenever they inevitably put another ad on the job sites saying they're looking for people.)

I am seriously running out of place to apply that I haven't already tried (some multiple times) before.

(sigh)

 

The discrimination against sentient ferris wheels is getting out of hand.

 

I would go there personally and ask why. I did that ages ago for a job and they hired me on the spot. Not that they will this time, but what's the worst that can happen? They just continue to not tell you.

What caused in her life to make this change in her decision? Is she OK? Does she need help? What is going with her?

 

Well, problem is, I think I KNOW why.. one of two main reasons at least, one of which I can't do anything about and the other (if true) they probably wouldn't admit it.

The first step is accepting that you are your own person and talking for yourself. Instead of rewriting history to make someone else speak your words keep your chin up and speak your words without hesitation.

But honestly the biggest thing for me personally is waking up at a proper hour so I can get in the working mood. If I sleep in I just always feel like a sloth all day and hardly work. I'm not even fully up to speed again but when I was I used to do a lot of days over $100 and even over $200.
