    Yes but you are going on "vacation" soon. Whatever will we do without someone with admin powers.

    Vacation will change you, I feel like I'm starting fresh again on MTURK and it's only been a month. Probably too much drinking:emoji_sweat_smile:

    Welcome

    If you have only been casually turking recently you might not know about http://mturksuite.com/ and I really suggest checking it out.

    Is it just me or does it seem like there's a LOT of new requesters competing to see how many hits they can get done for as little money as possible?

    That's exactly where I was a year and a half ago. I've been turking since 2012 and didn't know what a panda was, let alone how to use it (shout out to jqkill for helping me learn all the ropes :( ). From there, it very quickly became my main source of income. You're definitely in the right place to learn, so questions are always welcome and encouraged. :)

    @DownsmomNC

    If you feel like reading through it. (Because I am too lazy to rewrite it). My discussion in another welcome thread might help you get started. It might be a bit ahead of your turking level but you can always ask questions.

    Is anyone good with routers? I just moved into a townhouse with gigabit internet and I'm having troubles. I had to hook my own router up to the wall(their connection) and have my desktop/ps4 wired into the router I just bought(Netgear AC1750) and my phone/ipad/laptop wirelessly connected. The speedtests range from 250-700Mbps wired on my desktop and 8.9Mbps on my PS4, the wireless connection is only getting 40-50Mbps. I also have had some random disconnects on both networks including one that made me fail an online exam earlier.

    My main question on this is if there is something wrong with using the default settings on routers and if there is something I should be changing? The provider is Springnet and is a part of my cities utilities.

    That's great! I have no idea what it is since it seems like a great network but then craps out on me. I just moved here yesterday and have already had it go out during an assignment which is no good with me taking some online classes.
