I never really understood the whole, it's lying to your kid thing. I mean so it letting them watch Disney movies, or thinking Mickey Mouse is real, or fairies, or that they can be anything they want when they grow up.

I mean ... take all that away and your kid becomes a Sheldon lol.

Collin on the school bus told my kid this year. I reminded him that I am mean and don't buy him anything and he agreed and all was well. I'm pretty sure he knows the truth though since he has given up sleeping so he can eavesdrop on conversations, and he magically guessed every present that Santa was bringing him.

 

I wonder if I can hit $15 worth of Zs today (I know it's not that impressive but I usually only get like $2 worth)

 

You can't talk about anything related to a bed while having Zooey Deschanel as an avatar. I have a full queue, no time for distractions here

 

My internet was off for the most of it but I am back in the Z business.

I found out when I was about 7 or 8, but I just waited for my parents to tell me themselves. I got an extra 3-4 years of extra presents

SANTA IS REAL!

 

My fiance set a fire in the living room fireplace as a kid to see if Santa could still get in. He apparently didn't want to burn Santa up or anything, just wanted to see how Santa would handle the situation. He was a weird kid.

My parents got divorced when I was 6 and spent years trying to outdo each other. We were super poor so I never got anything except for them trying to piss the other one off with better presents. I'm not arguing with the sweet as fuck lime green gameboy color though!

 

I'm okay with lying to my kids. I tell them stupid things all the time. When Allen was 4, I tried to convince him that he actually had 6 toes on one foot, but he was too smart for that.
