I liked Spader more than i liked Shanks as Daniel but not even Kurt Russel could hold a torch to THE Richard Dean Anderson :p

I definitely agree that the book was difficult to put on screen but I think it was handled as well as they could, and I think the remake will be even better. Nobody can replace Tim Curry, but I still have faith it'll be great.

I've been meaning to watch Hemlock Grove... there aren't enough hours in the day for everything I want to watch. I'm actually okay with remakes as long as there's a purpose for the remake (example of a worthless remake: the comedy Death at a Funeral). I think originals and remakes can co-exist happily, and I'm good with that because I get to see the same story I enjoy recreated, reenvisioned, whatever, and see a new crowd enjoy it, new commentary, new discussion. Nothing's stopping me from still watching the original just because a remake is done. But I digress. What I can tell from the previews, he'll absolutely nail Pennywise, and as much as I love Curry, it's a-o-k with me.

Stargate SG-1 basically caused puberty to click with me. I wasn't sure why, but the scene where they have the weird ceremony to put the goa'uld in Daniel's little girlfriend's stomach and everyone is moaning and going nuts over it made me feel mighty funny as a kid.

    Thanks Stargate!

No clue how he got that domination, either, that means someone on the server must have been worse at the game.

so I just got back from that Sofa King furniture outlet and ended up buying the Sofa King tired and sleep mattress, and I have to say it is very comfy, and that Sofa King customer service was super nice and gave me a Sofa King free bed sheet set, and I would recommend everyone go get that Sofa King mattress.

Oh wow! If you haven't watched Hemlock Grove yet, you're in for a treat. One of the few shows they did not drag on too long. Last season was a little iffy but the first two seasons were fantastic!

I aaaalmost included Firefly in my list of things to talk about, haha.

It's funny how much I love classic Chevys since I drive a Ford ( :hitwithrock: ) and I have a similar soft spot for Mach 1s. Buuut I also have a near perfect 2000 Cherokee with 30k miles, no rust, and runs like a champ. I get people knocking on my door at least twice a month asking if it's for sale. Nooooope. If I ever teach myself real mechanics, besides just the basic oil changes and junk, it'll be on beefing up that thing.

I also have a soft spot for quirky cars. There was an '84 Rabbit down the street from me for the longest time, and I'd drive that direction just to look at it, haha.

Good to know! I'll bump it up my list of things to watch. I was trying to get through Supernatural, but after marathoning it for weeks on end I think I need a break from it, so I'll throw in some new stuff.
