    doesn't heal, no, but it does get easier. The frequency with which it feels like a knife stabbing you diminishes, I'm down to only 2-3 times a year, and it's not really the ones you'd expect (birthdays, anniversaries, holidays), it's more random moments when something exciting happens and I have the sudden urge to call her and tell her about it, and then remember I can't....

    I know the feels, it's been almost 4 years since my dad passed, and January 1st will be 2 years since my brother passed. My mom died in February.

    I know those urges all too well. It's kind of maddening and slowly drives you insane I think.
